The result has been the ongoing production of the lamp assembly. The original design is maintained in that the base etc. is still a chromed pot metal. The problem with the original is that whilst they don't rust exactly, what does happen is that they develop pock marks. As they are impossible to repair the only real fix is to replace them. Assembly is complete with base, sockets, lamps, lens and gaskets.
